The kit includes a 4 in x 5 ft aluminum foil transition duct, a plastic lint reservoir with optional mounting ring and 2 plastic adjustable clamps.
Semi-rigid aluminum duct is ideal for applications where building codes require use of all aluminum duct. The duct is totally non-combustible with a maximum operating temperature of 400 deg F.

The kit includes a 4 in ProVent? exhaust hood, a 4 in x 8 ft ProFlex? 2158A listed and marked transition duct and 2 plastic adjustable clamps. The ProVent? exhaust hood features a 3 louver damper system that helps to prevent cold air backdraft, snow or rain from entering the home. The louvers are cammed to allow for easy pivoting and to help prevent sticking. Additional features include a recessed caulk line to assist in a clean caulking application and a snap on pipe to cap assembly that eliminates the need for lint trapping staples. All ProVent? products have a UV-resistant coating to prevent the cap from discoloring and are paintable to match the exterior of your home. These hoods can be used in conjunction with brick, concrete or siding.
The DUNDAS-JAFINE ProFlex? dryer to duct connector kit offers a safe and efficient way to connect your dryer transition duct to the back of your dryer. The kit includes a 4 in x 8 ft ProFlex? dryer transition duct a plastic connector piece as well as an optional plastic extension piece for those dryers with recessed exhaust ports. The connector and extension piece is made of polypropylene containing fire retardant additive which meets UL94 VO standards for flame resistance. Once attached, it helps the duct from being crushed and improves the air flow from the back of the dryer. The connector piece is also friction fit to the dryer for an easy connection that does not require clamps or duct tape for attachment and can be easily removed for cleaning. The ProFlex? dryer transition duct in this kit is UL2158A listed and marked for safe dryer venting.
The dryer vent seal prevents outside elements and air from entering the vent when the dryer is not in use. When the dryer is in use, the dryer exhaust air pressure pushes up the floating damper. The exhaust air escapes from the vent's bottom. When the dryer stops, the damper drops back down to keep outside elements from entering the vent. Made of ABS plastic, the dryer vent seal mounts easily over an existing 4 in vent pipe and can be painted.

This all inclusive all metal dryer hook up kit is truly the ultimate installation kit for both the contractor and consumer. This kit includes a 4 in x 8 ft UL 2158A listed and marked semi-rigid aluminum duct, two attached all metal heavy-duty elbows and two 4 in metal galvanized worm gear clamps. The semi-rigid duct is UL 2158A labeled and approved for safe dryer venting. It is thicker than our standard non UL duct and like all aluminum ducts is totally non-combustible. New manufacturing technologies incorporated into this duct also allow for easy rotation, adding durability during installation. The two metal elbows are flame-resistant for a safe and long lasting connection and are designed to achieve tight 0 to 90 deg turns.
